When people ask me what I'm doing I always say, "Nothing, just playing with my wood"
- My Inspiration: Each time I create a tree smiles knowing there's life after death.
- My Beliefs: I'm strongly against the current "wasteful" society in which we live, the purpose - where I start - is the idea of use. It is not recycling, it's reuse, and if I can breathe new creative life into discarded bits and pieces, I do!
- What gets me going: Mother Nature, where there is never anything ugly to be found in her creation. The warm, soothing smell of wood shavings, coffee and splinters in my hand.
- My Tools: Left and Right Hand. I always carry them around to create my inspirations.
- My Goal: To create inspirations and bonds for people to connect with Mother Nature.
- My Commitment: I only put my name on creations built with pride.

We like to keep as many logs out of our landfill sites by creating one-of-a-kind benefits. Furniture, artwork, or any other woodworking project, our live edge kiln dried wood slabs are custom cuts salvaged from trees damaged by storm, removed for safety reasons, or fallen over from fatigue serving us day in and out for centuries. Woodzby is an Ontario based woodworking shop located at the shores of Lake Huron-Point Clark.
What started as a hobby and passion decades ago to reuse and intergrade old with new, create one of a kind, or make special custom creations turned into a love for the craft. To satisfy my customers I have been experimenting with European and North American craftsmanship to incorporate reusable materials into my innovations, it made me see the beauty and possibilities of architecture's, furniture's or any kind of craft and art to renovate or regenerate. I like to work with wood and iron, trees with an attitude, forgotten stumps in the swamp, or authentic 150+ years hand-hewn barn wood with an breathtaking or unknown story.
Our Products are extensively made from native Canadian lumber. For the celebration of life we love wood and that’s why we care about preserving its natural character. We are proud of our craftsmanship, everything we create is hand crafted and incorporated in to natural elements.
- Shapes and arrangements are wide-ranging, often marrying them together in unexpected ways exposing the natural beauty at its finest.
